Holiday Brunch
So, what should John and I eat for breakfast on Christmas morning? Yes, I really need your opinion. I want an easy, delicious menu. One that can be made mostly ahead of time and is meant for two. (I don't want leftovers.) It has to be protein packed otherwise my darling husband will be cranky. I, on the other hand, can practically live on bread alone.
PS: Mimosas are a must.

I was going to suggest a French toast bake recipe I just pinned a recipe for until you said John needs protein -- Brendan has the same issue. :) I have a crustless quiche recipe that's pretty damn good if you're interested. Think you guys may have tried it at the royal tea.
Huevos Rancheros! Corn Tortillas, egg on top, green sauce ( i cheat and use the trader joe's green sauce), topped with avocado, a dollop of sour cream, Trader Joe's chicken apple sausage with fresh berries on the side with or without a little whip cream. What do you think? Easy and yummy!
Baked Creme Brulee French Toast with a side of bacon or sausage.
I want Trisha to come make me huevos rancheros.
Erin, I'll make them for you!
All these ideas sound delicious, but I'm with Erin. I think we need to plan a brunch at Trisha's. :)
I vote for Breakfast Casserole.
There will be leftovers, but it's totally worth it.
